Celery is rich in many vitamins and minerals: vitamin A, vitamin B, and vitamin C, and calcium, potassium, phosphorous, iron, and sodium.  When cut into small pieces it is OK to give to dogs as treats in small quantities.

My wife and I take great care when preparing celery to go in people dinners.  just a couple small bites of the yummy crunchy cool green treat comes back in a couple hours to haunt our hallways with the scent of death…
